形态特征：一年生草本，具圆锥形主根及自其上生出的密集须根，高20-80厘米。茎直立，钝四稜形，上部被倒向微柔毛，多分枝。叶卵圆形至卵圆状长圆形，先端微钝或急尖，基部渐狭，边缘具不规则牙齿或近于全缘。总状花序顶生于茎、枝上，由多数具6花交互对生的轮伞花序组成，花冠唇形，白色或带紫红色。小坚果卵形至长圆形，黑褐色。花期6-8月，果期9-10月。
