分析了随机海浪空间特征量的研究现状和合成孔径雷达(synthetic aperture radar, SAR)海面成像机理.采用线性叠加法模拟波面得到波峰的空间形态，提取出波峰长度信息并进行统计分析.SAR观测得到的波峰长度的统计分布与数值模拟结果比较表明两者符合较好，从而验证了数值模拟技术的有效性.同时，给出大型海上结构物遭遇某一长度波浪的概率公式.

该项目主要是利用大量的SAR影像的分析，结合必要的环境参数进行该海域内波的时空分布、激发源、激发机理、传播途径的研究。首先基于大量SAR影像的统计分析，初步得到了台湾东北部海域内波的季节分布，即4-7月份的内波发生频率较高，11-3月份发生频率较低，全年都有内波发生。其次，基于SAR影像内波的几何特征和Long(1954)提出的理论进行了内波激发源的研究，台湾东北部内波的激发源应该是在陆坡上分布的...
