目前Web-Based Course教学设计模式呈现出2种类型，一种是“目标志向”的；另一种是“技能志向”的。通过2种类型设计模式的长短比较，提出设计模式应采用“目标志向”和“技能志向”2者互补的形式。可以预测，今后，代表上述2种类型的基于目标的行动计划（GBS）模式和个别化教学系统（PSI）模式在e-learning领域中都将会成为主要的设计模式。
