媒体作为公司外部治理的一种手段越来越受到重视,本文以2014年进行IPO的公司为研究对象,利用其上市前一年、上市当年和上市后一年的数据,研究媒体对IPO公司连续三年盈余管理水平的影响。研究结果表明:媒体关注度对IPO公司盈余管理水平在5%的水平上有显著的抑制作用,即媒体对公司的关注度越高,其盈余管理水平越低。此外,公司的媒体信息管理行为也会对其盈余管理水平产生抑制作用,且在5%的水平上显著,说明公...

以2009年10月创业板开板以来至2015年2月底的所有创业板上市公司为研究样本,考察了机构投资者持股与创业板公司股价崩盘风险之间的关系,并检验了媒体报道在其中的传导作用。研究发现,在创业板中,机构投资者持股显著增大了公司股价未来崩盘的风险,并且机构投资者持股对公司未来股价崩盘风险的部分影响是通过媒体报道来传导的。这种传导主要是通过主动增加正面或中性报道、减少负面报道的“主动媒体管理”行为得以实现...
