近日,日本理化学研究所与松下电工的研究人员共同开发出目前世界上功率最大的深紫外线发光二极管,这种二极管体积很小,除了能够用于杀菌,在其他领域也有广泛应用前景。
据日本理化学研究所网站介绍,研究人员首先在用来制造二极管的氮化铝镓中添加了一定比例的铟,然后再将其中铝的组成比例提高到50%以上,最终制造出了这种大功率发光氮化铝镓结晶。
