本发明提供了一种hnRNP A2*蛋白质，编码该蛋白的核酸及用途。所述蛋白含有蛋白，蛋白质片段或蛋白质的类似物或衍生物的氨基酸序列如SEQ ID NO。1。本发明hnRNP A2*蛋白质能主动解开端粒G-四，结合最小结合位点，在3′端粒的尾端，露出五个核苷酸可配合端粒酶RNA模板和促进端粒延伸端粒酶的作用下，从而保持细胞的分裂潜能。
