2023年6月28日,由中科院合肥物质院等离子体所自主设计与建造的CRAFT负离子源中性束注入系统(NNBI)1kW@4.5K氦低温系统调试成功,各项性能指标达到设计要求。该系统是聚变堆主机关键系统综合研究设施(CRAFT)的重要建设内容之一,可为NNBI测试装置、束源测试平台和超大抽速低温泵的测试运行提供低温冷却条件。

基于人工过零的直流回路分断技术承担着超导磁体失超保护的重任,是确保CRAFT项目磁体安全的重要防线。该项目直流回路电流达到100 kA(ITER最高69 kA),分断要求极为苛刻,需要满足高参数、高储能、高可靠性的“三高”要求。长期以来,相关技术由俄罗斯、欧盟等掌控,项目团队进行自主研制的难度和风险较大。
