该研究在连续三代的人工驯养条件下,对雉鸡的配种、孵化、育雏、种雉饲养、雉群繁殖期行为习性的观察,雉卵生物学特性差异以及雉鸡胃、小肠和大肠等消化器官血供情况的解剖学研究等内容进行了深入全面地研究,获得了卵受精率达86%,孵化率达88%的人工孵化温湿度组合,雉鸡成活率达81%的六条技术措施,以及经济高效的人工饲料配方一个,建立了雌雉120只,雄雉95只,共有成雉215只的人工繁殖种群。
