应波兰政府要求，国际原子能机构（IAEA）综合监管审查服务（IRRS）代表团于9月4日至15日访问波兰，并依据IAEA安全标准对波兰核与辐射安全相关的政府、法律和监管框架进行了审查。审查结果表示，波兰国家原子能机构（PAA）是一个有能力的监管机构，其工作人员致力于有效地履行其法定监管义务，并准备着手实施符合国际安全标准的核电计划。

来自第四代核能论坛（GIF）、国际原子能机构（IAEA）以及其它国际组织的专家和成员国代表于日前在维也纳召开的会议上，对全球正在研发中的第四代钠冷快堆（SFR）安全问题进行了研讨。IAEA副总干事兼核能司司长楚达科夫（Chudakov）表示，这是自2010年发起的系列研讨会中的第五次会议。楚达科夫同时对GIF第四代钠冷快堆安全设计准则工作组开展的工作表示了肯定。
